Infant Program
Our infant program is specifically designed to promote advancement and growth for newborns and toddlers up to 2 years of age. Kiddie Day Kamp infants get the opportunity to explore and develop in a calm and secure environment. Through thoughtful efforts and tender care, we desire to turn our everyday daycare routine into loving teachable moments.
Pre-K Program
Math, science, literacy, creative arts and social skills. Our Pre-K program is designed to prepare your child age 2-5 years old to enter Kindergarten. We focus on the following: Identifying and counting numbers 1 to 10, colors, shapes, sizes. We teach your child how to identify patterns, how to understand if things are the same or different, understanding the terms 'more' or 'less', how to conceptualize day and night and explore money through pretend play, songs and books. We explore with scientific tools such as microscopes, magnifying glasses and magnets. We learn the weather and how the seasons change throughout the year, about insects and plants and their behaviors.
We explore the space and world around us using our five senses: sight, sound, smell, taste, touch. We learn about animals, their natural habitat and what they need to survive. Your child will become familiar with the alphabet, will recognize their own name and learn to hold a pencil, or crayon correctly. We'll explore drawing & painting, story telling, nursery rhymes, music, dance, exercise and will practice their fine-motor skills development by playing with play dough and building with legos.
Your child will also learn how to problem solve and critically think in their surroundings in addition to practicing their manners at the table and how to say 'excuse me', 'please', and 'thank you'. They will learn how to use their words to express their needs and how to be independent by cleaning up or putting away their nap items, snack items and toys used for play. We'll teach them how to work with others on simple and fun projects where they'll each have their own part to complete. Your child will learn their basic personal information like their name, age, city, state and country they live in and what school they attend. We will also explore the kinds of jobs people in their city have and identify modes of transportation.
After School Program
Kiddie Day Kamp's after school program is designed to assist your child age 5-12 years old with their homework and academic skill-building. We continue aiding in the development of your child's math, science, literacy, creative arts and social skills while helping them explore their special interests such as art, music, theater and dance. They will learn to use computers, other technology, they'll craft, play games, enjoy sports, free play, and cultural activities.
